The new Mannheim: New York

What a reunion. On friday we arrived in New York to meet up with Andreas, Nicole, Anna and Martin. What do all these people and we have in common? Right, we all know each other from Mannheim and happen to be in New York. What a great chance to get together and rock New York. Andreas was so nice to host all of us in his spacious corporate apartment in the heart of Manhattan. So on friday we went out to the Pink Elephant to party like a New Yorker. A great night out ended with a Pizza at 5am in Greenwich village

The next day we got ourselves together again to go to Central Park (my first time). What an amazing parc in the middle of this crazy city. It feels like you are part of all the action, while you are laying on the grass in a lawn surrounded by skyscrapers. Afterwards we went to the fantastic Metropolitan Museum (I hope you read this Mum). My new favourite painting after this visit is the crucifixion by Salvador DalĂ. What a masterpiece.

Where does every tourist day in New York have to end? Right, Times square. In my eyes the most fascinating man made place on the planet.
