The first night in my new apartment was good in terms of sleep.The only problem is that the bed is right next to a window. When you go to bed a street lamp lights up the room and You wake up with the sun shining directly into your face. So I got to buy a blanket or something to cover it up.
After finding out the hours and rooms of my lectures for the next week for about 3 hours I meet Sweden (Pernilla), Denmark (Christina) and Italy (Margherita) in the 5 Dollar steak house. Since it is already 1:00pm the breakfast will have to be a chicken breast steak.
Mikkel (Denmark) meets up with us and we go to the Paddy market in Chinatown. You can get all sorts of stuff here from clothes to toys to sworts, etc.. Since Mikkel and me are not into shopping at the moment we go Down to Darlington Harbour and hang out for some hours. The Weather is much better than the last few days and I actually get to wear my Chinese Oakley`s for the first time.
Since we are all (Mikkel,Sam,Flo and me) on tight budgets we decide to go to my place and cook. We decide to buy some steaks with salat and wedges and end up spending more (about 7 € per person) than we would have in the 5 Dollar (3€) steak house. Anyway after an ok dinner we meet my roommate Kathy and her friends in my new home and start with the drinking games. Soon the house fills and it gets really loud. I don`t think Jamie (my other roommate from China) is to amused about that fact and Kathy remarks that this house used to be so quiet at least a ten times. But she also states that she is enjoying it and thought this is what student life is like. From my experience I totally agree!
