Last day in China already! What I got to do today: See at least two more major sights of Beijing, do some shopping and get to the airport on time.
First stop: Tianmen Square. As my tour book says the biggest public square on earth.
It does not impress me that much though and so I head to the silk market to buy sun glasses, shirts, a wallet and ER seasons 1 to 7.
Since there is still time left I take a cab to the temple of heaven. The place is quite nice and a take a ton of pictures. Nothing is as good as the chinese wall though.
Back at the hostel I meet a nice Australian couple that take a cap to the airport shuttle with me and offer me to come and stay with them in Byron Bay whenever I want.I won´t turn that offer down!
My first flight with Quantas Airlines is one hour delayed, but the first dissapointment is washed away when I get onto the plane and discover the OnDemand entertainment system with hundreds of movies, tv series and other stuff with full control of start time and pauses. The meals are also great. I get about 4 hours of sleep on the plane and now the Australian country is only a few hours away!
