Weblog 26.07.06

Today will be my first surfing lesson! I force myself out of bed to get some work done before leaving for Bondai Beach. My Units of Study still haven`t been approved. How long can that possibly take?

It is raining cats and dogs when Kristina and me arrive at Bondai Beach to meet Dorte at the surfing school. After a short introduction we head out to catch the first waves. WOW! This board takes you so far on the smallest wave. After some time I manage to stand up for the first time. What a feeling. The two hours of the lesson pass like nothing. After that we are all very tired and have to head home for the evening classes.

At 6:00pm I´m sitting in class for a course called Business Decision Making. After an introduction of almost an hour Conny and me decide to leave, since it is so boring. I will definitely not take this course.

Leaving the course early gets me some extra time to do my favourite thing since the last two weeks. e-mailing professors here in Australia and back home in Germany.

There are still some problems with my favourite course international marketing. The german professor wants a final exam, but this class does not offer one. My professor said he has never had a problem like that before. German beauracracy…

As I´m surfing the internet Mikkel calls me to invite me to a Bar (3 wise monkeys) near central station. I have to refuse to get some work done and catch up on some sleep.

Lieber Alexander,
