As most of my friends were coming back to Sydney now at the end of December and did not have a place to stay, I opened the Alex Hostel on 117 Darlington Road.
The first guest to arrive was Cathy, my former room mate and after that different people were coming and going in daily. By the end my Canadian room mates did not even ask when the sixth random person in one day came out of the shower…
