Weblog entry 27.12.06 We´re not done yet.

Mum really came at the best time possible, as our entrainment program in the past few days has been without comparison.

On the Agenda tonight: Nothing less then the Sydney Opera House.

A superb program with the Australian Symphonic orchestra and many guest stars was awaiting us. The Highlight was when they played our current favourite song “Somewhere over the rainbow”.

Happy after a great concert we ended the evening in the Sky once again. We stopped for a cocktail at the summit on the 48th floor of a building close to the harbour. The views were once again fantastic and the cocktails divine…

Alex, you wonderboy!!!
what an amazing time I am having. It is not only this wonderfully beautiful city of
Sydney, or the aussie carefreeness, it is indeed the amazing time I am having with Alexander and all his buddies. The Christmas eve dinner at home with Alex was so special and that.. cool, posh young bachelor boys can cook up such a gorgeous menu leaves me speechless. Then the surprize Christmas Day dinner when I was only told ..just dress chic! and nothing more. I did not know till the last that a dream of mine would be realized in the next few mins.
The amazing Sky Tower, now called Our Tower, was just the right place to be at the right time with the right people. We enjoyed every minute of our 5 hour stay up in the skies and Sydney showed herself off in her photogenic best!
The visit to the Sydney Opera on the 28th will always remain in memory!. Such an ambience! Wow and the music..popular song interpretations of all musical styles as a relaxed form of entertainment, performed y the famous Sydney Philharmonic Orchester. The trumpeteer, need to get his name, aussie guy, was the cream on the cake and I thought of Santan so much.
I am happy and delighted and damned lucky to be here at this time of the year. Now looking forward to the most spectacular New Years Fireworks ever which will be celebrating 75 years of Harbour Bridge Presence!!
Viva la Sydney!!!
a grateful Mum,
Otilia
