Weblog entry 24.12.06 Christmas in Sydney

What a strange feeling. It´s Christmas eve and there is no snow, you can go out in a T-shirt and most of the family is thousands of miles away.

This gave us the chance for a “different Christmas”.
So we had a big dinner at my place, incl. 4 Canadians, 1 American, 1 Danish and 2 Germans and we cooked a three course dinner together and then sang Christmas carols in canon in four different languages. It was great fun and we all enjoyed ourselves very much.

Everyone had to bring one present in order to receive another one. We played some Chinese game, so you could switch the present you got, with someone that got a present before you. Unfortunately took my bottle of Rum and the Scottish short bread and gave me an eye cather instead. Bad luck….
